https://www.beckett.com/news/2019-20-pa ... all-cards/
2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia cards get their
name for not only the amount of relics
in the product, but the types as well.
Sure, there are jersey swatches and patch pieces,
but the product also brings in an abundance
of other things like basketballsand caps.
Hobby boxes have just two packs.
In each is both an autograph and a memorabilia card.
2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia Overview
Perhaps nowhere on the 2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia
checklist is the variety of relics more apparent
than in the Tools of the Trade Signatures.
Each of these has either three, four or six pieces,
all with different combinations of items.
This means collectors can expect more than
a trio of just plain jersey pieces.
Additional parallels bring with them smaller
print runs and more premium pieces.
A total of 33 rookies are included in this portion of the set.
Hats and basketballs get the oversized treatment
in a pair of inserts under the Jumbo name.
Additional memorabilia can be found
in Veteran Tools of the Trade, which have five parallels.
On-card autographs aren’t everywhere
in the product, but they do exist.
Rookie Autographs, Rookie Autographs Variations
and Limitless Signatures, which go beyond
first-year players, are all hard-signed.
2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia Preview :
https://www.sportscollectorsdaily.com/2 ... l-preview/
Set to release the day before Thanksgiving, 2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia
will offer another chance to snare some early Zion Williamson
rookie cards that picture him in his NBA uniform.
This season’s edition of Absolute will offer two packs per box
with five cards per pack and ten boxes per case.
Each box should have two autographs
and two memorabilia cards on average.
Look for a new base card format this year,
featuring veterans as well as the top rookies.
Parallel versions start at 1/1 and go up to 199.
Back again are the rare Glass cards, which feature
25 of the top NBA players and newest additions to the league.
Tools of the Trade returns, with as many as six pieces
of memorabilia on a single card with an autograph.
The checklist will include 33 of the top members
of the 2019-20 NBA rookie class.
Each card features combinations
of jerseys, hats, and basketballs.
Panini is promising plenty of on-card autographs
with 2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia, featuring :
past and present NBA in Limitless Signatures,
Rookie Autographs, and the Rookie Autographs variation cards.
Each autograph set will have five
different “levels” or parallel versions.
Jumbo Basketball and Jumbo Hat sets
will feature oversized pieces of NBA basketballs
(no word yet on whether they’re game-used)
and oversized NBA cap pieces featuring the top rookies.
Also look for jersey and patch cards of current
and retired stars in the Veteran Tools of the Trade set,
also with five different levels, according to Panini.
2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia is set to arrive November 27,
a date that’s subject to change.
All three of these also have five tiers
of additional parallels.
Going beyond traditional hits, a new batch of Glass
inserts are part of 2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia .
Like in the past, these are tough pulls.
The base set is a mix of rookies and veterans.
Parallels exist at multiple levels
with print runs ranging from 199 or less
2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia continues
its relic-filled ways for a fresh NBA season.
Hobby boxes offer two autographs and two relics.
One year removed from the 10-year anniversary
in 2018-19, the format shifts slightly.
Each box contains 10 cards instead
of the six-card boxes last year.
It appears that the uncirculated cards that
came two per box are no longer an option.
The Suggested Retail Price (SRP) is $130 per box.
2019-20 Absolute Memorabilia Base / Inserts
More in line with the majority of Panini sets,
the new base card selection
for 2019-20 Panini Absolute Memorabilia

for 25 top players, including rookies.
