Panini America Offers Detailed First Look at Target-Only 2015-16 Threads :

Panini America officials are readying the popular Panini Threads franchise for another exclusive run in Target stores
across North America with an all-new 2015-16 edition that features calling-card elements such as Leather and Wood Rookie Cards,
Voices of the Game Signatures and three distinctive SKUs.

Look for the debut of Triple Threat Materials, featuring three game-worn memorabilia swatches,
and the return of Threads’ program-defining sets such as the Rookie Cards printed on four unique stocks including Leather,
Wood and Micro-Etch, and both Veteran and Rookie versions of the collector-favorite Threads Die-Cut Jersey cards.

The highlights of 2015-16 Panini Threads , which should be live in most Target stores by the end of March, are many and include . . .

- Voices of the Game Signatures is back with an even stronger checklist showcasing the brightest personalities of basketball
from former players to coaches to analysts who now polish their craft from behind the microphone
as the top announcers in the game.

Look for autographs from Bob Knight, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Kenny Smith,
Steve Kerr, Jalen Rose, Grant Hill and more.

Threads also offers a variety of autographs and relics cards.

Signed options are led by Voices of the Game Signatures that focus on top personalities of the sport. Coaches,
analysts and former players are all featured in the checklist that includes Bob Knight,
Grant Hill, Shaquille O'Neal and Steve Kerr, among others.

In addition, there are basic Autographs and Signatures Patches as well.

Among the memorabilia inserts are Triple Threat Materials that showcase
a trio of game-worn swatches and Rookie Threads that fall one per Blaster box.

Outside of the relics and autographs, Century Stars act as the case hit
for the Premium format with 20 top players that are designated SSP.

- Chase Century Stars, a super short-printed insert that falls only once per Hobby Premium case
and showcases 20 of the game’s most collectible players.

- Also returning are SKU-specific rookie cards found in Hobby Premium
(Base Rookies and Leather Rookies printed on leather card stock)

- Blaster (Wood Rookies printed on actual wood card stock)
and Gravity-Feed (Micro-Etch Rookies printed on an etched holofoil card stock).

- Team Threads Rookies fall in every SKU.

- Rookie Threads memorabilia cards fall one in every Blaster.

- The Hobby Premium configuration (10 cards per pack, six packs per box) features two autographs
and two memorabilia cards per box; Premium-exclusive Leather Rookie Cards fall two per box.

- The Blaster configuration (20 cards per pack, one pack per Blaster)
features one Rookie Memorabilia card and two SKU-exclusive Wood Rookie Cards.

20-card Gravity Feed packs include SKU-exclusive Micro-Etch Rookie Cards.

Continuing the retail-only release from last year, 2015-16 Panini Threads is again exclusive to Target locations.

Boasting multiple box formats and a mix of designs, Threads offers rookie collectors
one of the most diverse products of the year.

Built around a simple base set for veterans, the rookie options are a little more complex with several themes and tiered rarity.

While all the rookies are available at retail, certain options are only found in specific formats.

In addition to Base Rookies, there are the die-cut Team Threads Rookies that resemble a jersey.

There are also veteran versions of these cards. Next comes the Leather Rookies that are printed on leather card stock.

Finally, Micro-Etch Rookies are printed on etched holofoil stock while Wood Rookies utilize a wood-like stock

Any day now, Panini America’s 2015-16 Panini Threads will arrive on Target store shelves across North America,
the second time in as many years that the popular NBA release will appear exclusively in Target stores.

Picking up right where last year’s stacked release left off, 2015-16 Panini Threads returns with its trademark
and SKU-specific — Wood, Leather and Micro-Etched Rookie Cards, the compelling Voices of the Game autograph chase
and a rich roster of base cards, inserts and parallels honoring the game’s greatest current stars, retired legends and hottest rookies.

We brought you a detailed first look at the product a few weeks back, but today we’re emptying our sizable camera roll
of more than 100 images taken during the recent Quality Control and Packout processes.

As you’ll see, 2015-16 Panini Threads is loaded with variety, great photography, parallels, autographs, memorabilia
and the dastardly short, die-cut Century Stars. In short, there’s something for everyone.
