Ils ont foutu des plaques de silver, gold... partout pour soit disant justifier une 'valeur' moi perso je ne suis vraiment pas fan! Ca fait vraiment gadget.

2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite delivered.

2012-13 Panini Flawless represented the next big jump with initial prices over $1,000 a box.

2014-15 Panini Eminence didn’t just beat the mark set by Flawless. It crushed it.

Skipping past $2,000, $3,000, $5,000, each single-box case arrives with a price tag right around $6,000.Six. Thousand. Dollars.

With that case having anywhere from seven to ten cards, that averages out to a cost of more than $500 per card.

If you’re on the low end of card quantity, it’s closer to $1,000 per card.



Obviously, the audience for this is a limited one. It’s something few of us can fathom, let alone afford.

With every card limited to ten copies or less, there’s not much to go around to begin with.

It’s likely a lot of 2014-15 Panini Eminence Basketball is going to dry up quickly with most heading fast into high-end personal collections.

malgre le prix il y a des ouvertures en masse
Et les gars qui ouvrent sont tentes d en reouvrir donc c est que le pognon ne manque pas
Taiwan, Hong Kong...ca ouvre au taquet mais Philippines et USA ne sont pas en reste.

J'ai vu plein de break américains aujourd'hui et j'ai pas vu bcp de carte qui valaient 500$
Puis c'est plus des cartes là, c'est des parpaings!

c est quoi une carte qui vaut $500 pour toi?
Sur ebay des cartes partent tres haut car il y a une hype sur cette collection c est super dur à dire ce que va couter telle ou telle carte
J'attends de voir la carte "Napoleon " ou "James Dean" ca pourrait partir à des sommes folles surtout sur des gros collectionneurs (hors cartes) sont au courant de la circulation d'objet de la sorte

Ca ne me fait pas rêver comme devrait le faire une collection à ce prix, et la frénésie de certaines personnes vis-à-vis d'items chers (franchement, quelques collectionneurs asiatiques me font parfois penser à des fumeurs de crack décrits par Jonathan Shaw ), bah ça ne m'intéresse pas des masses, tout comme des autos HORS basket dans une collection BASKET

C'est clair mais en plus ils osent nominer les Exquisite 2003/2004 une collection mythique, et le fait de rappeler que ça coutait 500$ de moins est juste ridicule, les exquise étaient 100 fois mieux que cette daube.
Les Flawless étaient bien mieux.

Ce qui est bien avec Panini c'est qu'ils savent bien faire monter la mayonnaise.
Tu lances au début des collections stickers a outrance pour te vendre des cartes a $6000 quelques années plus tard. Et a chaque fois la moindre petite évolution tu rajoutes un zéro a la fin du prix de chaque box
Ex : passage du sticker au on card, du jersey au jumbo patch, en passant par le patch auto, du high end, du high high end, du ultra high end, du sneaker, du cut.... En reprenant les mêmes collections, en les mixant, en ajoutant des diamants, des lingots
Moi je dis bravo Panini, ils arrivent a refourguer leurs collections en créant une hype autour de leur produit et plus c'est cher mieux c'est Pourvu que ça dure !

Seulement perso quand je vois une shaq, durant, Kobe ou autre patch auto /5, /10 de cette collection ça ne me fait aucun effet car c'est du vu, revu, rerevu!
Pour l'avenir je les vois mal continuer ainsi sans signer de nouveaux joueurs comme Lebron, Ewing ou Barkley.
