2015-16 Panini Gold Standard :

It’s fitting, really, that Panini America’s Gold Standard brand has indeed become the gold standard for many collectors.
With it’s gilded greatness and golden aura, it’s the product by which many collectors measure all other products.
Certainly that’s been the case during the first five years of Gold Standard’s hoops existence.
Judging by what Panini America product developers have in store for the upcoming sixth installment,
that will remain the case well into the future.
Due out in late December, 2015-16 Gold Standard will feature subtle enhancements to brand stalwarts
(like new 1/1 Jumbo Tag versions of the product’s popular Rookie Jersey Autographs)
and larger tweaks such as all-prime memorabilia cards.

Each seven-card box of 2015-16 Gold Standard includes one Rookie Jersey Autograph,
two additional autograph or memorabilia cards, three base cards and one parallel. Other highlights include . . .
Strike gold again with the return of the AU autograph insert.
All cards are sequentially numbered to a print run of 79, the atomic number of gold.
All memorabilia inserts are prime. Look for rich patch content in Newly Minted Memorabilia,
Golden Pairs/Trios/Quads, White Gold Threads and Golden Jumbo Threads.
Look for the ultra-rare Solid Gold set featuring 1/1 cards made of real gold.
Find the updated Bullion Brand Logo Tag insert; all Bullion Brand cards are 1/1s.
The popular Ring Bearers autograph insert returns to honor the NBA’s greatest champions.
Chase the epic Rookie Jersey Autographs RC subset numbered to 199 or less
and including single, double, triple and jumbo patch versions.
Continuing a tradition of quality cards and a focus on gold, 2015-16 Panini Gold Standard remains a hit-centered product.
Each box includes one signed rookie relic and two additional hits.
Averaging four cards per box (3 base, 1 parallel), the base set is still a large component of the box despite not being the primary focus.
That would be the Rookie Jersey Autographs that average one per box with a print run of 199 or less.
Jumbo parallels come as single, double or tripe relics and also include a one-of-one Logo Tag option.
AU Autographs play on the atomic symbol for gold, while the print run is the same as the atomic number (#/79).
Ring Bearers is another signed insert and it celebrates former NBA champions like Kobe Bryant,
Klay Thompson and Shaquille O'Neal.
Literally incorporating gold, Solid Gold cards are made entirely of the valuable metal and are each numbered 1/1.
Memorabilia cards occupy the rest of the release and all of them feature prime relic pieces.
