As a result, base cards take a break for the release. Instead, everything is either a signed card or an insert.
Switching the configuration up from last year, 2013-14 Panini Signatures Basketball goes from a single-pack box to a pair of two-card packs.
The result is a little more friendly to more casual purchases, albeit still on a high-end scale.
Every box promises two autographs. This is down from three in 2012-13. Keeping in line with the product's name, there are several different signature sets.
Film Autographs and Film Rookies Autographs (25 cards) return.
These distinct cards come with a slide-like image embedded into the card.
History of the Hall brings some of the game's all-time greats. Hall Hopefuls looks at some players who could find a place in Canton
in the near future. Franchise Graphs are another one of the options.
The second card in each pack is either a non-autographed version of a Film card or a Chase insert.
All Chase Veterans and Chase Rookies are numbered to 25 or less.
Each box of 2013-14 Panini Signatures also has one 2014 NBA Draft Exchange Card.
These are redemptions good for some of the first cards from the 2014 draft. Final cards won't be sent out until next season.

Last year’s late-season surprise didn’t have the hype of Panini America’s other new-addition headliners such as Flawless or Immaculate.
But what 2012-13 Signatures Basketball lacked in pre-release buzz, it more than made up for with some great designs,
the collector-favorite Film Autographs insert and some of the rarest chase cards of the year.
For the highly anticipated 2013-14 Signatures Basketball, Panini America officials have embraced all of those driving forces
from last year’s debut; but they’ve also added a few new twists and completely overhauled the packaging configuration.
The result is a familiar-feeling Signatures that packs the potential to deliver in a big way.
2013-14 Signatures Basketball will deliver two two-card packs per box, with boxes delivering two autographs, one Film card and one Chase insert.
Also included in each box: One 2014 NBA Draft Exchange Card that will land collectors early XRCs of next season’s top draft picks.
