2013-14 Pinnacle Basketball marks the first time the brand, which has its origins in the early 1990s, steps onto the NBA court.
Featuring a jumbo hobby box configuration, the product is aimed largely at set builders.
That being said, there are plenty of inserts, a handful of hits and lots of nostalgic names.
2013-14 Pinnacle Basketball is rooted in a 300-card base set. This puts it in line with NBA Hoops as one of the year's largest sets.
A total of 40 rookies are included. Parallels include a couple of familiar names, Museum Collection and Artist's Proof.
Retail packs have their own exclusive Red and Blue Artist's Proofs.
Autographs combine to land two per jumbo box.
Essence of the Game and Pinnacle of Success come with signatures done on clear acetate card stock.
There is also Pinnacle Autographs, which use stickers.
Jumbo boxes also have one memorabilia card. Among them is Upstart Jerseys, which focuses on young players.
The set also has a Prime version with premium and patch swatches.
Clear Vision, a multi-tiered insert set that debuted in 2013 Pinnacle Baseball, carries over to this set. Cards feature a mix of acetate and foil.
The come in different levels, similar to the Epix and Crusade lines of the 1990s. Numbered to 5, Overtime is the rarest version.
Basic inserts in 2013-14 Pinnacle Basketball include several familiar names like Team Pinnacle, Big Bang and Z-Team.
Scoring Kings and Jamfest are among the other inserts.
