Basketball Trading Cards

A proud, powerful name from the hobby’s distant past is about to make its presence felt in a whole new arena. Spoiler alert: The Select brand is crossing over to basketball — and it will do so with a huge assist from Panini America’s wildly popular Prizm printing technology.

2012-13 Select Basketball will arrive in late March packaged as two seven-pack inner boxes within each 14-pack box that will deliver four autographs, four new-design Prizms and six additional inserts. Select also continues Panini America’s massive and historic Double Rookie Class with a 100-card hard-signed RC subset featuring players from both the 2011 and 2012 draft classes.


But the real stunning development in Select is likely to be the application of the brilliant Prizm technology, most notably on inserts such as Panini Select Rookies, Select Stars and the sure-to-be-scorching Hot Stars.

The product highlights are plentiful and include . . .

A 325-card base set including 175 rookies that featuring either an autograph, or an autograph and a swatch of memorabilia
A Hot Stars lineup bolstered by White Hot and Prizm parallels for both
Three distinct Prizm parallels (Prizms, Gold Prizms numbered to 25 and Black Prizms numbered to only 1)
Each seven-pack mini-box will yield two autographs, two Prizms and three inserts

Pas terrible du tout...

un peu tjrs la même chose....perso jvais même plus voir les prix de boites sur Dacardworld, peu importe les collections, tellement que ça me saoul de pêter de la boite . Bon heureusement aussi hein , qd on voit ce qui sort...

franchement je commence à râler aussi, c'est toudi le même, c'est chiant

c'est pas si compliqué de trouver des bons graphistes pourtant, il y en a des tonnes !

C'est vrai que c'est toujours les mêmes cartes, c'est simple même pour une nouvelle collection il n'y à aucune personnalité, c'est à dire que toutes ces cartes pourraient se trouver dans les Prestige, Rookie & Stars, etc...

Je trouve ça vraiment bizarre de ne pas revoir les Elite Black Box, les Hall Of Fame, les Panini Classics, les Panini Studio? Plus de Contenders et y aura t'il des National Treasures cette saison ?

ils sont sympas de faire des previews avec des autos on card, vu que la grande majorité des autos qu'on tirera sera sur stickers...
je vais leur intenter un procès pour pub mensongère tiens!!!

Je suis pas du genre à cracher sur Panini mais la Kobe fait un peu jacky tuning. . .

Lol excellent ça!! C'est exactement l'effet que ça donne.
Et pour le reste de la collection, c'est vraiment très très fade mise à part peut être la Durant qui a l'air embossed avec un fond "à la panini prizm" mais cela serait surprenant.

La Bird ça fait morbide

On croirait l'entrée d'un mausolé ...

Je n'avais pas vu ils vont faire des Prizm Gold /25 et des black 1/1, curieux de voir le résultat.

Intéressant. Par rapport à ce qu'il y a à tirer d'une box le prix ($140) et plutôt pas mal.
