For those familiar
with the long-running brand, they’ll know that
autographs are a central feature.
More specifically, it’s the Rookie Ticket
Autographs that get much of the attention.
But the checklist runs deeper than just that with more ink
from first-year standouts, veterans and retired players.
Hobby boxes come with a pair of signed
cards plus an average of three inserts per pack.
2023-24 Panini Contenders Checklist Overview
Veteran base cards fall under the Season Ticket banner.
While physical tickets might not be as common at sporting
events as they once were, their legacy continues
in Contenders as the design inspiration.
Rookie Tickets Autographs, which are part
of the main set, include on-card signatures.
Horizontal variations and parallels come in several levels,
many of which play off the ticket theme even further.
There are also tough Premium Edition
versions that come on chromium stock.
Included in these are Gold (/10) and Gold Vinyl (1/1) parallels.
Veteran Ticket Autographs take the base design and add ink.
Premium Edition and acetate Clear Ticket
versions are available for these as well.
Legendary Contenders Autographs, MVP Contenders Autographs
and NBA Ink Autographs are some of the other places
to find signatures from veteran and stars from the past.
The 2023-24 Contenders checklist
has a handful of hobby-exclusive inserts.
These include :
Lottery Ticket, Rookie of the Year Contenders,
Suite Shots and Superstar Die-Cuts.
Supernatural is a new addition.
As for short print inserts, there’s License
to Dominate and Permit to Dominate.

2023-24 Panini Contenders hits the hardwood once again
with the familiar lineup of Ticketed inclusions
as well as plenty of other stuff to chase in every box
The Basics :
Each box will include 12 inserts
(inserts, parallels or variations)
along with 20 base cards and the Autographs.
Among the tickets this time will be :
rookie variations, rookie Championship Ticket, rookie Season Ticket,
veteran Championship Ticket, veteran Season Ticket, veteran Clear Ticket,
veteran and rookie Season Ticket Premium Edition
(with Gold /10 and 1/1 Gold Vinyl parallels),
veteran Playoff Ticket, MVP Contenders,
Legendary Contenders, Contenders
and NBA Ink for starters.
