in the country. It also means some of the earliest mainstream cards
for many of the game’s top prospects including Bronny James, LeBron’s son.
The format is a lot like other Topps Chrome releases.
Autographs get an emphasis, landing two per hobby box.
Collectors can also expect to find several Refractors and a mix of bold inserts.

Showcasing the East and West squads, the 2023 Topps Chrome McDonald's
All-American Basketball checklist features 100 cards in the base set.
New parallels in the rainbow include :
Lava Refractor (#/399), Aqua/Fuchsia Swirl Refractor (#/175),
Fuchsia/Blue Swirl Refractor (#/125), and Yellow Mini-Diamond Refractor (#/75).

The 2023 edition of Topps Chrome McDonalds All-American will put cards
of the USC bound offspring of LeBron James into packs for the first time.
The 18-year-old James was among those
invited to play in the March 28 game
in Houston and the product is built
around the rosters of the East and West squads.
James’ basketball future remains slightly clouded however.
He collapsed and went into cardiac arrest during a workout
in July, believed to be the result of a congenital heart defect.
The ailment is believed to be treatable, however, andBronny James
is currently attending classes at USC with the hope
that the 6’3 guard will be able to return to the court soon.
All of the players named as 2023 McDonalds All-Americans on the boys
and girls side are considered to be among the top 2023 basketball prospects.
The product will feature Isaiah Collier, the 2023 Naismith Prep Player
of the Year who will be James’ teammate at USC.
Hobby boxes of the Chrome product
will contain 20 packs, with four cards per pack.
A typical box will have two autographs,
one McDonalds Logo parallel
and at least six base card Refractor parallels.
Each 20-box case will have one randomly packed Red
n Gold Vibrations or Superfly insert card.
Inserts will include New Waves,
packed one per box, on average.
Future Stars will be found in every six packs
and 2007 Topps McDonald’s All-American throwback cards, found in every three packs.
All of those inserts will have these parallels :
Gold Refractor (#/50), Orange (#/25- Hobby only), Red Refractor (#/5)
and 1/1 SuperFractors and Printing Plates.
Another insert will be the rare Red ‘n’
Gold Vibration inserts numbered to 10.
Gameday autographed cards are listed by Topps as “limited.”
2023 Topps McDonalds All-American boxes will be released on Sept. 27.

Inserts are another part of 2023 Topps Chrome McDonald's All-American Basketball.
The 2007 Topps McDonald’s All American (1:3 packs) set revisits the earlier design,
while Future Stars (1:6 packs) is back for another look at the young talent.
The colorful New Waves (1:20 packs) series
debuts with a focus on some of the top names.
The low-numbered Red 'n' Gold Vibrations (#/10)
cards also sport an eye-catching design.
According to Topps, every Hobby case has one
Red 'n' Gold Vibrations or Superfly insert.
